The Process

From the first conversation to the handover.

The donor vehicle

We can begin with a Land Rover from our selection, find a donor with you, or assess a vehicle you own. Its condition and your plans guide the specification and scope of work.

Materials

Paint, nappa leather, cloth, canvas and interior accents are selected together. We work with samples from Harris Tweed, Fox Brothers & Co. Ltd, Abraham Moon and other selected makers. Upholstery is patterned, cut and finished by hand.

Bodywork

Panels, trim and nonstructural parts are assessed individually. We repair, restore or replace them, working through their fit, alignment and original details.

Chassis and bulkhead

The chassis, bulkhead and supporting structures are inspected before the required repairs or replacements are agreed. Metalwork, protective finishes and assembly follow.

Patina or paint

Patina and new paint are both part of our work. We establish which surfaces can be preserved, where repairs are needed and how the finish will sit with the interior and roof.

Engineering

Engine, transmission, brakes, steering, suspension and electrics are restored to the agreed specification. Improvements are chosen for how you will use the vehicle, with its Land Rover character kept intact.

Handover and care

We coordinate transport, documentation and destination requirements for Europe and the United States. At handover, we introduce the vehicle and its care. We remain available for maintenance, advice and further work.

The occasion

We can accompany the handover at your home, at a private gathering or during a weekend in Thessaloniki. A discreet event and Leica photographs are available by arrangement.

Questions

Can we begin with a Land Rover I already own?

Yes. Send us its model, year and a few photographs. We assess its condition and discuss the work with you. We can also use a donor from our selection or find one around the brief.

How personal can the specification become?

Paint, leather, cloth, roof materials and interior details are developed with you. We also discuss the mechanics and intended use. Samples and a written specification establish the commission.

Can you preserve the vehicle's patina?

Yes. We assess which surfaces can be preserved and where repairs are required, then agree the finish with you. Patina and fresh paint receive the same attention.

Where will the restoration take place?

The restoration takes place in Greece, centered on Thessaloniki. In our workshop, we bring design, engineering, metalwork, paint and upholstery into the same process.

How are timing, price and delivery agreed?

After discussing the donor, design and work, we prepare a proposal with the specification, price, payment stages and schedule. Transport and destination requirements are agreed for the particular vehicle.

Do you sell and deliver to the United States and Europe?

Yes. We work with clients across Europe and the United States. We establish the destination requirements early and arrange transport, documentation and handover with our experienced transport partner. We remain your point of contact.

Can the handover be a personal occasion?

Yes. We can accompany the handover at your home, a private gathering or a weekend in Thessaloniki. A discreet event and Leica photographs can be arranged. Continuing care is discussed around the vehicle and its location.
